Meals on Wheels operates in virtually every community in America through a network of more than 5,000 independently run local programs. Each program's services and operations are committed to supporting their senior neighbors to live healthier and more nourished lives in their own homes.
Giving back has always been part of the Subaru culture, and so to mark its 50th year in the U.S., Subaru of America donated 50 specially wrapped 2018 Outback vehicles to Meals on Wheels programs across the country for the delivery of meals to seniors in need.
The commitment of Subaru to homebound seniors is extraordinary. Thanks to the Subaru Share the Love® Event, Meals on Wheels has delivered nearly 5 million meals and friendly visits to seniors facing hunger and isolation.
