A 260-horsepower direct-injection turbocharged SUBARU BOXER engine is also available, providing 277 pound-feet of torque for extra power and exciting daily driving.

With available Reverse Automatic Braking, your vehicle can even stop itself to help avoid objects behind you. Remote Engine Start with Climate Control, accessible via your smartphone, ensures your Outback is always ready and comfortable. There are also STARLINK Concierge services for personal assistance with tasks like navigation, restaurant reservations, and scheduling service appointments.

    Subaru DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System

    The 2025 Outback features a state-of-the-art system to help reduce distracted driving for both new and experienced drivers. Each day in the United States more than 1,000 people are injured in crashes reported to have involved a distracted driver. Working with our award-winning EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, the DriverFocus system is like having an attentive co-pilot along for the ride, available to give a helpful alert if a driver becomes distracted or drowsy. For added convenience, DriverFocus can also recognize up to five different drivers and remember their preferences, including seat position, climate control settings, and outside mirror position.

    The 2025 Outback is built on the Subaru Global Platform, which uses high-strength steel for enhanced crash safety, long-lasting quality, and a quieter cabin. The Outback also features eight airbags, height-adjustable head restraints in every seating position, and a ring-shaped reinforcement frame as standard equipment to help provide all-around impact protection.

    The 2025 Outback is an all-wheel-drive 5-seat SUV that makes every trip more enjoyable and entertaining with impressive passenger room, advanced technology, and high-quality materials. An available 12-way power front driver’s seat includes a four-way power lumbar adjustment for custom support and there are cargo pockets on the back of each front seat to help keep small items organized. USB-C charging ports are available for both front and rear passengers in addition to the traditional USB-A ports for future device compatibility. In back, the rear gate has an available integrated LED lamp to help illuminate cargo as well as the area behind the Outback.     The 2025 Outback is a midsize SUV that gives you up to 109 cubic feet of roomy passenger comfort in both the front and rear seats. It’s a 5-seater SUV with more passenger room than the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, or Ford Bronco Sport. Even full of passengers, you still get 32.6 cubic feet of cargo space. The available cargo area release levers make it even easier to fold the rear seats down, giving you up to 75.6 cubic feet of volume to haul more gear. Loading all that cargo is a cinch with the available Hands-Free Power Rear Gate, which allows automatic opening even when your arms are full and lets you close and lock the entire vehicle with a single touch of the gate button.
