Subaru owners love the outdoors. That's why since 1999, Subaru has been the official vehicle and a proud partner of Leave No Trace, helping them deliver programs, education, training, and outreach to people who enjoy the outdoors.

Through this partnership, Subaru and Leave No Trace created the Traveling Trainer Program. This program serves as the mobile education arm of the Leave No Trace organization. Traveling Trainer Teams travel across the country in their Subaru vehicles conducting hands-on educational training, workshops, and outreach programs for people of all ages and backgrounds. Since 1999, the Subaru/Leave No Trace teams have reached more than 220 million people nationwide in 49 states.

As Leave No Trace's largest long-standing corporate partner, Subaru is inextricably linked to the country's leading environmental education program.

What does it mean to Leave No Trace? The Seven Principles of Leave No Trace provide an easily understood framework of minimum impact practices for anyone visiting the outdoors. These principles are Plan Ahead & Prepare, Travel & Camp on Durable Surfaces, Dispose of Waste Properly, Leave What You Find, Minimize Campfire Impacts, Respect Wildlife, and Be Considerate of Others.
