Welcome to Subaru Motorsports USA

Subaru Motorsports USA is the U.S. competition arm of Subaru, with the mission of testing and proving the capabilities of Subaru vehicles in stage rally, rallycross, record attempts, desert racing, and more. Since its inception in 2001 as Subaru Rally Team USA, the team has won more than 100 rally and rallycross events, and 12 of the last 13 U.S. national rally championships.

Subaru Tecnica International is the global motorsports and performance division of Subaru. Since 1988, STI has studied and applied motorsports and vehicle development engineering to upgrade and refine Subaru vehicles – both for professional racing and for thrilling performance on your favorite back road or tricky corner.

Subaru Tecnica International

STI® stands for "Subaru Tecnica International", the performance and motorsport subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. STI® was founded in April 1988 with the aim of using the motorsport arena to promote Subaru products in markets around the world. STI® works directly with Subaru Motorsports USA on engineering, parts development and driver development.

Idemitsu Lubricants America

Idemitsu began supplying lubricants in the United States in the late 1970s and built the state-of-the-art blending facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana in 1992 to meet increased production demands. Idemitsu Lubricants America (ILA) is a full subsidiary of Idemitsu Kosan, with sales offices in Detroit and Los Angeles, and has continued to expand its business in the United States and worldwide. It is the eighth-largest lubricant manufacturer globally, with over a century of unsurpassed quality, innovation, and superior product development.


Celebrating its 50th year in the U.S., Yokohama Tire Corporation is the North American manufacturing and marketing arm of Tokyo, Japan-based the Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., a global manufacturing and sales company of premium tires since 1917. Servicing an extensive sales network throughout the United States, Yokohama Tire Corporation is a leader in technology and innovation. The company’s complete product line includes tires for high-performance, light truck, passenger car, commercial truck and bus, and off-the-road mining and construction applications. Yokohama supplies Subaru Motorsports USA with competition gravel rally tires for use in team's American Rally Association program.

Vermont SportsCar

Founded in 1998 by veteran co-driver and rally car builder Lance Smith, Vermont SportsCar is the home of Subaru Motorsports USA’s rally and rallycross programs. The company builds, sells, and rents Subaru rally cars to drivers and teams across the world. Vermont SportsCar prepares and maintains the team cars for Subaru Motorsports USA and manages all rally/rallycross team operations from their facility in Milton, Vermont.

Method Race Wheels

Method Race Wheels designs, develops and distributes high-performance wheels and accessories for race and street applications. With a storied success in Off-Road Racing, METHOD is now working directly with Vermont SportsCar to develop a line of rally and rallycross wheels.

The first retrofit sports seat, the world’s lightest car seat, the most innovative commercial vehicle seat and new sport seats in a modern composite design also come from RECARO. RECARO Automotive Seating’s customers include prominent, globally active manufacturers of automobiles and commercial vehicles. Through retail sales, the company also provides end customers with aftermarket seats and motorsports customers with racing shells.
