A Message from Subaru of America President and CEO, Tom Doll

Dear Friends,


On behalf of the entire team at Subaru of America, our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the novel coronavirus COVID-19.  Subaru remains committed to the health, safety and well-being of our owners, employees and communities, and we are prepared to adjust in whatever way necessary to keep people first in these difficult times.

Together with our retailers, we recognize that now more than ever before, we must serve as a positive force in each of our communities and help wherever we can, however we can.  The Subaru Love Promise, our continued vision to show love and respect to all people, will remain our North Star as we navigate these uncharted territories together.

We also know that we play an important role in your lives by providing and maintaining Subaru vehicles nationwide.  As the landscape changes each day, you can depend on us to do whatever is within our power to continue serving our Subaru family.

Subaru of America is closely following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps that we can take to mitigate transmission of the virus. We pledge to keep our employees informed, maintain strict travel policies and cancel or postpone gatherings.  Subaru of America employees have been encouraged to work remotely, and no Subaru of America employee will go unpaid for time away from work in the interest of their well-being or the well-being of their family.

Although we cannot predict how the COVID-19 situation will evolve, what we can control is how we react, and that is to make each decision with the goal of doing the right thing for our customers, employees and communities.
