The all-electric, zero-emission Solterra features a newly upgraded charging system with faster charging — even in cold weather — and increased range of up to 288 miles with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. There’s enhanced power, too, with up to 338 horsepower available. The redesigned exterior of the Solterra showcases a new illuminated star cluster on the front fascia, available redesigned 20-inch wheels, and premium style inside and out. With all that upgraded range, convenience, power, and value, it’s not hard to see why the 2026 Solterra is so easy to love.

  • Faster EV Charging and Increased Range

    The charging system in the Solterra is even faster for 2026, going from 10% to 80% in about 28 minutes using its fast-charge capability. The new battery preconditioning feature helps maintain that fast-charge time even when ambient temperatures fall below freezing, so you're always ready for more fun in the snow. The 2026 Solterra also features a substantially increased EV range of up to 288 miles for more freedom on your everyday adventures. Every new Solterra comes with a standard Level 1/Level 2 charging cable that works with any standard 120V outlet for Level 1 charging. You can also have a 240V Level 2 charger installed at home so you can plug in overnight and wake up each morning with a full charge. For 2026, the Level 2 charging speed of the Solterra is significantly increased to 11kW.

Plus, the 2026 Solterra features standard adapters that let you charge virtually anywhere without worrying about what type of plug you’ll find at the charging station.

Standard dual-function X-MODE with Grip Control has settings for snow, dirt, deep snow, and mud, letting you choose the perfect traction setting to match conditions for enhanced stability and control, even on uneven terrain and low-traction surfaces.     Driving Mode Select

    The Solterra offers an enhanced driving experience through Driving Mode Select, which lets you choose from Normal Mode for typical trips, Eco Mode to conserve battery power, and an extra-responsive Power Mode. This advanced system is engineered with the latest breakthroughs in electric vehicle technology to deliver substantial on-demand torque at all speeds for exciting everyday driving. Steering-wheel-mounted paddles give the ability to dial in your preferred level of regenerative braking, which has been retuned to help reduce fatigue in stop-and-go traffic.

Driver Monitor and Front Cross-Traffic Alert

Working in conjunction with EyeSight, the standard driver monitor distraction mitigation system is like having an attentive co-pilot along for the ride, available to give a helpful alert if a driver becomes distracted or drowsy. This system is designed to enhance the effectiveness of other safety systems while also increasing passenger safety within the vehicle. If its steering-column-mounted camera detects a distracted, drowsy, or incapacitated driver, it will provide an alert. Driver monitor also combines with other safety systems such as Emergency Driving Stop System by allowing them to intervene earlier when necessary. Front Cross-Traffic Alert watches for unexpected traffic from either side and can alert you to approaching vehicles — including those that may not be visible from the driver’s seat.

All-Around Awareness Technologies

The 2026 Solterra features a comprehensive suite of active EV safety features to help protect you on every drive. The Blind-Spot Monitor system warns you with a visual indicator on each side mirror if it senses a vehicle in your blind spots. Front Cross-Traffic Alert can alert you if unexpected vehicles — even vehicles you may not be able to see — approach from either side of your Solterra. Lane Change Assist watches for other vehicles as you move into a new lane, helps with steering, and automatically cancels your turn signal. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert helps warn you of traffic approaching from the side as you back up. Advanced Park is an available automatic self-parking system that can be engaged while at the wheel to take the hassle out of parking. And with Parking Support Brake, the Solterra can even stop itself to help avoid objects behind you.
