You can subscribe to drive a new 2021 model-year Premium or Limited trim Outback, Forester, Ascent, or Crosstrek, based on availability. You get the flexibility of driving the Subaru of your choice – equipped with all of the latest features – with only a one-year commitment. You can even enjoy three complimentary upgrades a year to the seven-passenger Ascent for up to one week at a time.
Subaru Just Drive Subscription
A Subaru car subscription lets you avoid additional expenses or surprises when it comes to the bottom line, because insurance, maintenance, taxes, and registration fees are included in your subscription. You get a bumper-to-bumper warranty, standard roadside assistance, SUBARU STARLINK® activation, and a loaner vehicle if your Subaru needs maintenance or repairs. Everything is covered under one vehicle subscription, so there’s no need to negotiate. Not only is it more flexible than a long-term traditional lease, you even get more miles per year – up to 14,400.
Subaru Just Drive Subscription
The entire Subaru car subscription service is accessible via the Just Drive Subscription mobile app and applying for membership takes just minutes. You can purchase and manage your subscription directly from your smartphone. With standard Just Drive Subaru concierge service, your vehicle is always picked up and dropped off right where you are, whether it’s for your very first delivery or a regular scheduled oil change. If you have any questions during your delivery, your Just Drive Subaru concierge will be there to help.

The Subaru vehicles available for subscription are the Outback, Forester, Ascent, or Crosstrek. Each new 2021 model-year vehicle is a Premium or Limited trim model with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, and the latest in safety technology. How does the Just Drive Subaru car subscription program work?
Subaru Just Drive is an all-inclusive vehicle subscription service that gives you access to a top-of-the-line Subaru vehicle, insurance, maintenance, and more for one monthly payment. To get started, simply download the Subaru Just Drive app.
What is included in a Just Drive Subaru car subscription?
Every Subaru Just Drive subscription – in addition to access to a vehicle – includes insurance, maintenance, and taxes.
Your Subaru Just Drive subscription also includes Subaru concierge service for pickup and delivery of your vehicle, roadside assistance coverage, vehicle repairs, SUBARU STARLINK® activation, and 14,400 miles per year. If you choose to subscribe to the Subaru Outback, Forester, or Crosstrek, you also have the option to upgrade to the Subaru Ascent up to three times per year for up to one week at a time.

What vehicles are included with Subaru Just Drive subscription?

How does insurance work?
Insurance is included with all Subaru Just Drive subscriptions and is provided by Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co., an A-rated insurance carrier. Approved drivers are covered by the Subaru Just Drive insurance policy. Policy highlights:
How long can I keep a vehicle?
Each Just Drive Subaru vehicle subscription lasts 12 months. If you would like to subscribe to a different Subaru Just Drive vehicle at the end of your subscription, just let our team know, and we’ll make arrangements for your new vehicle.
How new are the vehicles?
Just Drive Subaru subscription vehicles are all newer model year and are Premium/Limited trim lines.
How do I join Subaru Just Drive?
Download our app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store (depending on your device) and hit “Sign up.” Follow the instructions to create an account. You will need to provide a credit card, select a plan and provide a picture of your driver’s license. We will verify your information, check your driving and credit history. We may need to speak with you during that process. In most cases, we can approve an application within one to two business days. Then we will contact you to get you started.
Must be 25 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license. Not everyone will qualify.
Is Just Drive Subaru car subscription available in my area?
Today, Subaru Just Drive is live in areas of Aurora, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; Highland Park, Illinois; and Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Sign up for news and updates to stay informed on when Subaru Just Drive will be in your area.
Who is eligible?
Anyone 25 or over with a valid license and acceptable driving record. Applications are subject to driving record review, background check, and approval. Not everyone will qualify.
How do I receive my first vehicle?
Once accepted, your Subaru Just Drive concierge will work with you to deliver your first vehicle. We recommend you reserve at least 30 minutes for your first delivery so we can answer any questions and show you the ropes.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed in any Subaru Just Drive vehicle.
Are pets allowed in vehicles?
We do allow pets in the vehicles, but they must be transported in a carrier. It is better for the vehicle and safer for your furry friend.
What happens if my vehicle needs repair?
Our goal is that you will never have to worry about maintenance or repair issues. If something unforeseen occurs, use the Subaru Just Drive app to notify us and we’ll get you back on the road right away. If your vehicle needs repairs or maintenance, our team will get you into a temporary vehicle while we take care of your vehicle. Once service is complete, we’ll return your Just Drive vehicle.
What happens if I get into an accident?
First, make sure that everyone is safe, get your vehicle to a safe place, exchange information with the other parties, and notify the police. Once the situation is stabilized, call your Subaru Just Drive concierge. We will bring you a fresh vehicle and handle everything with respect to the vehicle involved in the incident.
How do I pay?
Subaru Just Drive accepts all major credit cards.
Is there an activation fee?
There is a one-time $500 activation fee that is to be paid on your first delivery.
When is my monthly subscription due?
The subscription payment is due on the day of your first delivery and will recur each month thereafter.
What about fuel?
All Subaru Just Drive cars are delivered with a full tank of gas and Subaru Just Drive members are only responsible for the fuel they use.
When is payment due?
A valid credit card is required during sign-up. Your first monthly payment and one-time activation fee will be charged when we confirm delivery of your first vehicle. Subsequent payments will be charged on a monthly basis, in advance. Any additional charges for mileage overages are charged at the conclusion of your Subaru Just Drive subscription.
What is the minimum commitment to Subaru Just Drive?
The minimum commitment length is 12 months. After that, your subscription will automatically renew. Early termination of your subscription due to special circumstances may be allowed subject to review and requires a 31-day notice.
Where can I find the insurance card?
View a digital version of your insurance card under "Your Current Ride" on the home screen of your Subaru Just Drive app. Hard copies of the insurance card can also be found in the glovebox.
Is there a mileage limit?
There is a mileage limit with your Subaru Just Drive subscription. The car subscription program includes 14,400 miles per year. Any additional miles are subject to a 35¢ overage fee per mile at the conclusion of your subscription.
Can anyone else drive the vehicle?
Yes, two additional eligible drivers may be registered and added to the member’s account pending a driving history review. All we need is the name, phone number, and email address of the individuals you’d like to add.
Are members responsible for their Subaru Just Drive car?
Yes, we expect our members to take care of Subaru Just Drive vehicles as if they owned them. Please drive responsibly, keep your vehicle clean, and let us know of any minor dings or spills via the Subaru Just Drive app.
