EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology
EyeSight Features
On every Subaru you’ll find a set of dual color cameras placed unobtrusively near the rearview mirror constantly scanning the road for unanticipated dangers. And for an even wider field of vision, select models feature a third camera for better pedestrian and cyclist detection.
Watch the videos below to learn more about the features of EyeSight.
When you’re using cruise control, EyeSight can automatically maintain a safe distance from the car in front of you, and for added reassurance, it can even help you stay centered in your lane.
EyeSight monitors lane markings, and if you begin to drift toward the edge, the system can alert you and even intervene, steering you safely back into your lane.
EyeSight is always scanning the road ahead to help you stay safe. If EyeSight spots potential danger, it can alert you and if needed automatically apply the brakes to help avoid an accident.
If EyeSight detects potential danger in your path, it can reduce power to the engine, giving you more time to respond and slow down in a low-speed emergency situation.
