Subaru Confirms Return of David Higgins and Travis Pastrana to Rally America Championship

Subaru Rally Team USA confirmed today the return of David Higgins and Travis Pastrana to the Rally America National Championship. The rally powerhouses will face off on March 18 & 19 in Salem, Missouri for Rally in the 100 Acre Wood.

Named after the storybook home of Winnie the Pooh, Rally in the 100 Acre Wood is set in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains of Missouri and features very high-speeds on smooth and flowing gravel roads that are a favorite of many rally drivers. David Higgins won the 2015 edition of the event while Pastrana recently finished 2nd overall in 2014.

Higgins and Pastrana will fight a much closer battle than ever before in 2016. Higgins, the 5-time defending Rally America Champion will look to preserve his championship streak over the seven remaining rounds of the championship, but will be additionally challenged by Pastrana at up to five rounds in 2016.

Subaru Rally Team USA will reveal the 2016 liveries for 2016 Subaru WRX STI rally cars of Higgins and Pastrana Friday, March 11 2016.
