Building Community in the Deep South

Sarah | WRX

A Subaru ambassador since 2019, Sarah’s journey started in Colorado before she brought her passion for Subaru south to Georgia. Today, she’s focused on building a strong, welcoming SubieCrew chapter across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. Deeply involved in local volunteerism — especially animal rescue efforts — Sarah is excited to bring people together for fun, inclusive events while growing local partnerships. When she’s not on the road in her Subaru, you’ll find her catching a concert, exploring the outdoors, or hanging with her family and pets.

“Let’s Just Go”

Sam | Crosstrek

An ambassador since 2017, Sam loves sharing her passion for Subaru and connecting with others over the reliability, adventure, and community the brand represents. After owning several WRX and WRX STI vehicles, she uses her current Subaru — a rugged Crosstrek Wilderness — to power everything from daily commutes to spontaneous off-road adventures. Sam is focused on growing a versatile local chapter in which members can connect over shared passions, whether it's road trips, hiking, or pets. Her Subaru enables what she calls “let’s just go” detours, provides confidence on narrow mountain curves, and helps create unforgettable memories on the open trail.

John and the Texas Tigger

John | Crosstrek

John’s love for Subaru vehicles started in 2018 with a bright orange Crosstrek named "Tigger" — now a rally-inspired daily driver with over 183,000 miles. A fixture in the Texas Subaru enthusiast scene, John has showcased his vehicle at Overland Expo West and regularly volunteers at the Rally Ready track in Dale, Texas. As the chapter lead for the Hill Country Crew, he is focused on uniting local enthusiasts, partnering with regional retailers, and organizing community events like shoreline cleanups with Paddle for Puppies.
