Your VIN is the 17-character vehicle identification number that can be found on your vehicle registration, insurance card, by looking through the windshield on the driver’s side of the dashboard (A), or on a plate at the base of the driver’s side B-pillar (B).

Your electric vehicle BIN is the 24-character battery identification number that can be found in two different locations:

On a label on the underside of your vehicle’s hood.

With the battery removed from the vehicle, a label located on the front side of the battery. 

Your hybrid vehicle BIN is the 32-character battery identification number that can be found on the battery pack located beneath the deck of the rear cargo area.
