The 2018 Subaru WRX and WRX STI were unveiled at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, showcasing enhanced performance, updated designs, and cutting-edge features. To better control every ounce of track-ready power from its turbocharged 305-horsepower SUBARU BOXER® engine, the WRX STI is now equipped with all-new six-piston Brembo® brakes, 19-inch alloy wheels, and an upgraded, more responsive Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD). The driver-focused 2018 WRX, powered by a Direct Injection Turbocharged 268-horsepower SUBARU BOXER® engine, is also revised for added thrills and style. For the first time on select WRX and WRX STI models, the upgraded interior includes available RECARO® performance seats, while both models feature refreshed exterior styling, updated interior detailing, and available LED Steering Responsive Headlights.
The biggest Subaru concept yet, the innovative three-row VIZIV-7 SUV Concept made its debut at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. With room for more passengers, this new entry in the VIZIV concept line hints at what’s just over the horizon.
While the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is no longer in production for the 2017 model year, an improved replacement hybrid vehicle is under development.
