Because your fuel
should outlast your task.
Achieving up to 32 highway MPG1 with standard Subaru
Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, the 2016 Forester enables you to go
up to 500 miles on a tank of fuel2. And with available X-MODE®
featuring Hill Descent Control that helps you safely navigate through
the steep, the bad and the slippery, the Forester is as capable as it
is efficient. An open invitation to go farther and get more done.
Much to do means there’s much to enjoy in the clean, yet pleasurable
2016 Forester. It delivers an engaging drive that’s also eco-friendly. Since
every non-turbo Forester that Subaru makes is Partial Zero Emission
Vehicle (PZEV)-rated3, it’s one of the cleanest gasoline-powered crossovers
on the road. So busy days can still mean blue skies in the new Forester.
For illustration purposes only.
The low-maintenance Lineartronic® CVT smoothly gets the most from
your Forester. Rather than shifting through each gear, it continuously
adjusts to the engine’s demands to ensure the highest MPG possible.
A 6-speed manual transmission is also available if you prefer to keep
the control in your hands.
