Nationwide - Kick off week begins June 1 - Clean-ups held all year long.

Subaru is proud to once again sponsor this year's National River Cleanup, occurring in communities NATIONWIDE. Since the launch of this annual event 1991, more than 600,000 volunteers have participated in over 6,000 cleanups across the country, covering over 100,000 miles of waterways. In 2008, 1.2 million pounds of litter and debris were removed from America's rivers and streams. If you're looking for a hands-on way to help protect the rivers you love, then organize a cleanup or pitch in at a cleanup near you.

"San Francisco Hep B Free" is a citywide campaign to turn San Francisco into the first hepatitis B free city in the nation. This unprecedented campaign will provide free and low-cost hepatitis B testing and vaccinations to Asian and Pacific Islander (API) adults at locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Subaru will partner with San Francisco Hep B Free throughout the year at various events throughout the San Francisco Bay area to support their mission. The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia, or Sakura Matsuri as it is known in Japanese, is an initiative to encourage a better understanding of the cultural, social, and educational customs of Japan and the United States. Japan has been celebrating the beauty of the elegant pink cherry blossom for hundreds of years with picnics under the trees accompanied by traditional music and dance. The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival also added to the Philadelphia landscape by planting and maintaining 1,000 cherry trees to supplement the 1,600 flowering trees donated by Japanese government as a gesture of friendship in 1926. Subaru is celebrating the 10th anniversary of "Seek the Peak" with Mount Washington Observatory. Seek the peak is a 6,288 hike up to the famous Mount Washington summit. This year's celebration will consist of a 2-day festival with a live music by national recording artists, Subaru outdoor adventure partners, various vendors and the first, Subaru Lobstertail-gate.
