Competitors are given a start gate and a finish line and have the freedom to throw tricks, negotiate tight chutes, and launch huge cliffs over a steep, natural, and unpredictable terrain. The snowboarder who simultaneously pushes the limits, while maintaining control and exhibiting style will stand at the top of the podium.
