Subaru Rally Team USA got off to a great start Friday at the 2013 Oregon Trail Rally. Under beautiful sunny skies, the Portland International Speedway was teeming with fans and racers as they prepared for the evening stages. David Higgins and Craig Drew were in good spirits as they climbed aboard their recently upgraded 2013 Subaru WRX STI. With a new Sadev 6 speed sequential transmission (same as the RallyCross cars) and an updated suspension the refinements should allow for even greater durability and improved performance. SRT USA's David Higgins and Craig Drew have arrived on the West Coast in preparation for the 2013 Oregon Trail Rally. The event starts Friday at the Portland International Speedway with gates opening at 5:00pm. The Parc Expose is scheduled for 6:00pm followed by four spectator stages. The remainder of the event will be held in the Hood River Valley with the Saturday stages based in Hood River and Sunday's centered near Dufur. With almost eighty teams entered there will be no lack of excitement. We hope to see you this weekend and just in case, bring your boots and raingear!
