David Higgins and Craig Drew had an amazing comeback during Day 2 of the STPR rally. Starting in 21st place overall, getting onto the podium was a daunting, but welcomed challenge. The 2013 STPR rally got off to a disappointing start for Subaru Rally Team USA today. After successfully completing the first two stages, the #75 WRX STI broke a tie-rod end on the third stage. David Higgins and Craig Drew stopped on-stage and attempted to make repairs, but ran out of time. The team decided to accept the time penalty (11 minutes) for not completing today's stages and will re-enter tomorrow under SuperRally rules. Although disappointing, the vast majority of stage miles remain and a good result is still very possible. SRT USA #75 will be in the #2 start slot for Saturday's stages. The first stage SS6 - Phasa, gets underway at 10:20am.
