The Sno*Drift Rally is the first of the season and the only race on the Rally America Championship Series that takes place in full winter conditions. The town of Atlanta in the northeast corner of Michigan can be a brutal place to be in the month of January. Nonetheless, this race is always a crowd favorite. Studded snow tires are restricted for rally cars: this means that the extreme winter conditions leave no room for driver error. Be sure to bring your snowshoes and snowmobiles, but whatever you do, don't miss this rally!

Picture the noise, dirt and excitement of rally racing set against the picturesque, serene backdrop of the Ozark Mountains and you have just imagined the precise setting of the 100 Acre Wood Rally: the ultimate example of man versus nature. As a rally named after the wooded home of the fictional character Winnie the Pooh, the scenery is so sublime that at first glance it truly appears to be out of a children's book. With streams and vistas around every twisting turn.

This is one rally where victory heavily depends upon road conditions, and with the ever-changing Pacific Northwest weather as a factor, this race truly keeps its drivers on their toes! Set in the woods outside of Portland, a city with thriving festivals, outdoors and dining scenes, the Oregon Trail Rally is a spectator favorite due to the ample amenities that are sprinkled along the course.

The first round of the 2012 Global RallyCross Championship takes place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway following the NASCAR Nationwide Series HISTORY 300 on Saturday, May 26. Don't miss Sverre Isachsen, Dave Mirra and Bucky Lasek racing head to head with other GRC competitors in 550+ horsepower cars!

Susquehannock, or STPR as it is known, is one of the most exciting rallies on the 2012 schedule. This is a high-speed event with sometimes slick clay roads flowing, twisting and turning through thick forests. This race has everything a rally aficionado could ever want. And, with most of the rally happening at night, there is much to see and do during the day. Held in Wellsboro, PA, the location is hard to beat.

The second GRC event takes place during the Firestone 550 weekend - a huge weekend of racing at the Texas Motor Speedway. In addition to the Global RallyCross event, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the IZOD IndyCar Series are on the schedule.

The stakes are high for 2012 as SRT USA fights to reclaim the X Games gold. Don't miss the intense action as 550+ horsepower cars burn rubber and race head to head down Los Angeles' Figueroa Street with the city skyline as a backdrop.

Warm, dry weather is consistent with summertime in Maine. Spectators normally enjoy bright blue skies, which can make watching the rally cars fly by even more fun. However, drivers know that the dry weather can lead to dusty, rocky roads where visibility is limited and hitting a stray boulder by the side of the road can be a common and disastrous occurrence...

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway event marks the fourth stop in the 2012 Global RallyCross Championship. Saturday June 14th will be action packed with the New England 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series, Town Fair Tire 100 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and Global RallyCross Championship all taking place.

The Olympus Rally was part of the first U.S. Rally Championship held in 1973. It later became a World Rally Championship from 1986-1988. In 2008, the Rally America event moved from its original location near Olympia, Washington, to the border of Idaho, 300 miles east. In 2009 the event returned to the Olympic peninsula but took place in the town of Aberdeen, WA. Just inland from the coast, the rally's setting is an enthralling mix of dense forest and clear-cut terrain.

The final event in the 2012 Global RallyCross Championship will be hosted at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in conjunction with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race. This GRC event is one you don't want to miss as teams go all out for their last chance to claim the podium in 2012!
