The weather and the roads are two reasons drivers and spectators alike love the Ojibwe Forests Rally. The roads are fast and smooth and the August weather in Minnesota can be superb. Held in the 10,000 lakes region in a town called Bemidji, there is much to see and do. And with much of this rally occurring at night, spectators have the whole day to explore the beautiful locale before returning to the race at dusk to hear the roar of the rally cars and see the streaks of headlights flying by. If you have never been to this rally, you should make sure to put it on your to-do list for 2009 because it is not to be missed!

Ojibwe Forests Rally back on the 2013 Schedule

By: Subaru - March 16, 2013

<

The 2013 Rally America National Championship has been expanded to once again include the Ojibwe Forests Rally based in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Only three and a half hours north of Minneapolis in the 10,000 Lakes Region of the state. The beautiful surroundings and pleasant summer weather makes for a fun and exciting event for racers, volunteers and spectators alike. The Ojibwe Forests Rally is unique in that it features more night stages than many of the US rallys. First hearing the crackle of the charging rally cars in the distance followed by the intense HID driving lights piercing through the north woods darkness is quite an experience! The event takes place August 23-24, 2013.

By: Subaru - October 19, 2009

Subaru Rally Team USA driver Travis Pastrana put an authoritative stamp on his fourth consecutive Rally America National Championship with a dominating win at the 2009 Lake Superior Performance Rally (LSPR). Pastrana, from Davidsonville, MD, mathematically won the 2009 Rally America Championship at the Ojibwe Forests Rally in late August. Subaru Rally Team USA driver Ken Block Impresses in SP Class at Rally Colorado

By: Subaru - September 20, 2009

<

Piloting a lesser specification Subaru Impreza WRX STI at this past weekend's Rally Colorado, Subaru Rally Team USA (SRT USA) driver Ken Block hovered near the top of the time sheets throughout the event. Block was without his usual high-powered Open Class 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STI and instead drove the Super Production (SP) Class Subaru Impreza WRX STI of fellow SRT USA teammate Dave Mirra, who did not attend Rally Colorado due to a schedule conflict with a BMX event. Block and his co-driver, Alex Gelsomino, put in an impressive drive in the lower-specification SP class car, running a majority of the rally in 3rd Overall and winning three stages outright...
