SRT USA returned to New Jersey Motorsports Park for round 2 of the 2010 Rallycross series. For the 1st day, Dave Mirra carried the team flag solo with teammate Travis Pastrana unavailable due to a prior commitment yet scheduled to return for driving duties on Sunday. Following the experience gained from round 1, the Subaru team focused on car testing and development to hone the performance and drivability of the #40 and #199 STI units.

After an exciting round of practice sessions and initial round of qualifying, the results of the team's tireless efforts became apparent after Dave took top honors in practice and also slotted his car in pole position though less than 0.3s from points leader Tanner Foust.

Travis will have an opportunity to start for Sunday's Final 4WD Heat in an effort to gain a strong spot in the A Main final.
