Subaru PUMA RallyCross Team USA has set up shop at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, just fifteen miles from the strip. The hot desert sun was quick to rise as practice got underway on the Global RallyCross (GRC) course. After an initial course-familiarization session, teams got a crack at the jump. The GRC-spec Subaru STIs flew effortlessly over the gap and returned to service unscathed, where Subaru PUMA RallyCross Team USA techs went to work making final preparations for Saturday's race. Additional full lap practice will take place first thing Saturday and qualifying races are scheduled to run 11:45am-12:30pm with the heat races and the A MAIN to run between 8:30pm and 10:15pm.
